Miami Beach Art Deco District in Miami, Florida

The Miami Beach Architectural District in South Beach of Miami Beach is an architectural mecca. In the 1930s, there was a great effort to turn Miami Beach into a luxury vacation destination. During the 1920s to 1930s, this style was considered sleek and super modern. It evoked classiness, taste, luxury, and more. Think Great Gatsby. This style can be seen in a lot of older Manhattan buildings too. A lot of these buildings need preservation work due to their age, but the facades are visible to all on the street. Be it a bike tour, a walking tour, or your own selective tour, these monuments of at time past are always worth a glance.
