North Light in Block Island, Rhode Island
The North Light Lighthouse is a bit removed from the designated parking lot. We drove our moped there early morning to catch the rising sun. Seagulls dotted the walking path towards the lighthouse and it is a trek to get there. In the summer of 2017, I walked just a bit further to find the driftwood structure. While the lighthouse remains, I'm not sure about the driftwood structure. It's the views walking back towards the lighthouse that you want. The house, nestled between the rolling dune hills. That's magic, especially in the first rays of the day.

Free. Though I did not try to go inside as it isn't always open.
Walking, seeing the views, beach, and lighthouse.
It's a long walk, so it's up to you if you want to go the distance. Not easily accessible, as it's a trek through sand. The lighthouse is visible from the parking lot.
