The Surf Hotel in Block Island

We had a superb first lunch on the island at The Surf Hotel. Originally, the building was the residence of Dr. T.C. Mann who was a doctor. In 1876, it was purchased and made into a hotel. We opted for fun drinks. I had a salad as an appetizer and mussels which could also serve as appetizers. The portions are huge and the food is very fresh.
